About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Software Engineer with a strong focus on Quality Assurance and Test Automation to join a dynamic team based in Stockholm. This role is integral to ensuring the reliability and accuracy of tracking implementations across various digital touchpoints. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and critical thinking to proactively test, monitor, and resolve tracking-related issues across platforms. You’ll be working closely with cross-functional teams to support high-quality digital analytics and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough, programmatic testing of critical events across all digital touchpoints and integrated systems
  • Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications (Android & iOS)
  • Prepare and maintain test documentation, execute test cases, and manage defect reporting and tracking
  • Develop and maintain automated testing scripts to monitor and alert on tracking anomalies
  • Perform regression testing and support QA releases, ensuring seamless functionality on platforms such as Tealium, Fabulous, and proprietary web/app environments
  • Lead investigations into tracking issues, ensuring timely identification and resolution in collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript
  • Experience with web and app analytics (previous exposure to web analytics tools is a plus)
  • Proficient in test management and creating detailed documentation
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Robot Framework
  • Familiarity with tools such as BrowserStack, JIRA, QMetry, and Confluence
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to take ownership of QA processes and collaborate effectively within Agile/Scrum teams
