Senior Java Developer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to help drive the migration of legacy services from an existing Java platform to a new, modern platform built on Spring Boot, OpenShift, and Kubernetes. This is a long-term strategic effort where you’ll play a key role in shaping how the transition is executed across multiple teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and participate in the modernization and migration of Java-based services to a new platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, plan conversions, and implement robust solutions.
• Design and develop scalable services using Java, Spring Boot, and containerized cloud environments (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Establish best practices and contribute to defining the framework for ongoing platform transformation.
• Share knowledge and foster collaboration within the team.

What You Bring

• 8–10 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with MQ and Sterling integrations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills — proactive, collaborative, and eager to share knowledge.
• Self-driven with the ability to take ownership and deliver results.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern Java migration or transformation projects.
• Familiarity with both legacy and next-generation Java platforms.
• Background in banking, insurance, or other complex enterprise environments.
