.NET Software Engineer (Hybrid – London)

Overview

An international online delivery platform is seeking a skilled .NET Software Engineer to join its Transactional Communications team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll help shape how millions of customers receive timely, personalized updates across multiple channels — including email, SMS, and push notifications.

You’ll work within a collaborative engineering environment, improving customer engagement and supporting a centralised notification system that powers seamless communication across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend solutions within the .NET ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver high-quality software.
  • Participate in product feature workshops with Product Managers and other engineering teams.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions, ensuring solutions are robust, reliable, and efficient.
  • Drive continuous improvement through innovative processes, design enhancements, and automation.
  • Support testing at multiple levels (unit, integration, end-to-end).
  • Share progress transparently and actively contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Experience working with AWS (or similar cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP).
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g. DynamoDB, CosmosDB).
  • Experience in automated testing across multiple layers.
  • Solid understanding of system architecture and scalable solution design.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative, solution-driven mindset.
