Freelance App Developer – Marketplace App

This role involves developing a user-driven mobile application designed as a marketplace for buying and selling used horse and dog equipment. The app aims to fill a gap in the Norwegian market by providing a dedicated platform with clear categories and subcategories for both horses and dogs, inspired by the Finn.no app. The project is a personal initiative led by an entrepreneur with a background in real estate, farming, and oil and gas, seeking to create a seamless experience for users to post, purchase, and highlight listings. The app will include features such as transaction fees and paid listing highlights, with a focus on intuitive navigation and robust functionality.

Deliverables

• Design and develop a mobile application for iOS and Android platforms
• Implement user registration, profile management, and secure authentication
• Build listing functionality with categories and subcategories for horse and dog equipment
• Integrate payment processing for transactions and paid listing highlights
• Develop an admin dashboard for managing users, listings, and transactions
• Ensure a user-friendly interface inspired by Finn.no, with clear navigation and search features
• Provide time and effort estimates for project milestones
• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure app stability and performance
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in mobile app development for iOS and Android
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Swift, Kotlin)
• Experience integrating secure payment gateways and handling in-app transactions
• Strong UI/UX design skills, with the ability to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces
• Familiarity with marketplace or e-commerce app development
• Ability to implement category-based navigation and search functionality
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide accurate project estimates
• Availability for ongoing collaboration and potential follow-up work
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Norwegian is a plus
