Job Description

Responsible for building products that solve Customers' and stakeholders' problems, through insights from user research & data. Identify the customer need and the larger business objectives that a product or feature will fulfil, articulate what success looks like for a product, and collaborate with relevant teams to turn that vision into a reality.

Strategic

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualize and launch new product features and experiments efficiently and scalably by working closely with Operations, Technology & Data Science teams.
  • Work on the strategy and roadmap Initiatives for the Zed products.
  • Provide key stakeholder alignment on initiatives to ensure they are connected to the larger organizational goal.
  • Ensuring requirements are properly defined and scoped including well-written problem statements, quantifiable goals, and baseline data.
  • Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results, as appropriate, to a spectrum of audiences, from internal stakeholders to external vendor.
  • Leverage data & insights to refine the strategy, define success metrics and execute against key business initiatives.
  • Integrate industry strategy, customer operational objectives, and business process understanding to define a clear solution strategy with actionable value communication.
  • Lead critical projects based on emergent business needs.

Operational

  • Creating the Product requirements and collaborating with stakeholders across UX Design, Technology & Business teams.
  • Managing and collaborating on a day-to-day basis with internal stakeholders across the Group.
  • Structuring and ensuring the development of reports encompassing the required Product analysis, findings, and recommendations.

People Management

Product/Process Improvement

  • Derive Insights based on user behaviour data, identify opportunities and build features iteratively and efficiently that address these areas.
  • Implement necessary changes by reviewing existing processes, resources and systems to enable the business to perform to its optimum ability across functions.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's in Technology, preferably computer science or Master's Degree in Business Administration/Science from an institute of repute.

Knowledge & Skill

  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key takeaways and disseminate actionable insights.
  • Good Product management skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Expertise in user research to extract actual needs and validate product ideas.
  • Strong analytical thinking and critical reasoning skills to break down a problem, identifying root causes and potential solutions.

Experience

  • 3-5 years of Product Management experience with a total experience not exceeding 8 years.
  • Experience in working on mobile apps with focus areas of work being "Dispatch or Matching Algorithm, Order fulfilment, marketplace, driver/rider operations, user/customer experience".
  • Preferably from Ride-Hailing like Uber, Bolt, Careem, Grab, Gojek, Ola, Rapido, Swvl, Snapp, Yandex Go or Food Tech companies like.
