We are seeking a skilled Technical Artist to join our team with strong VFX asset creation. You will work as a key part of our team utilizing your knowledge to create complex art by combining geometry, materials, effects working in Unreal Engine 5. In return, you will be part of an experienced, creative, and supportive team working on various AAA titles!

Some of the cool stuff you'll be doing:

  • Work with a collaborative team to mentor peers & foster skillsharing
  • Create complex materials for characters, weapons, environments, and large world set pieces
  • Support all teams with Blueprint management and setup for interactable items, weapons, environments, and other gameplay elements
  • Establish workflows and tools for other artists to utilize when making unique assets in Unreal Engine 5

Requirements

What you'll bring to the table:

  • A strong reel with recent work showcasing proficiency in Technical Art & VFX for Video Games (**must submit to be considered**)
  • 2-3 years of technical art experience working in Unreal Engine 5 with Blueprints
  • Ability to create art for visual effects, include FX concept, proto and final FX.
  • Proficent in tools such as Maya, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Houdini and/or Substance Painter etc
  • Experienced knowledge of PBR principles and material editors
  • Abilities in secondary areas such as modeling, skinning, animation, proceduralism, scripting or lighting

Bonus Points!

  • Additional scripting experience with C++, C#, Python, etc
