OutSystems Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and launch applications using low-code/no-code platforms, with a focus on OutSystems.
• Maintain and improve existing OutSystems web/mobile apps; deliver new features with strong focus on usability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Create automated workflows, forms, and system integrations to enhance business processes and drive operational efficiency.
• Perform comprehensive testing to ensure applications meet both functional and non-functional standards.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as technical specifications, user guides, and support materials for developed applications.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams — including IT, business units, and external vendors — to deliver robust, high-quality applications aligned with business needs.
• Legacy Modernisation & Suport - Assess existing applications/workflows; recommend and implement enhancements or refactoring as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

• Over 3 years of application development experience using .NET/C#, Java, JavaScript, or a similar modern language, with a strong recent focus on OutSystems development.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience in agile methodologies, including TDD, pair programming, Scrum, and continuous integration.
• Proven track record in building and deploying applications with minimal coding required.
• Proficiency with API integration (REST/SOAP), data modelling, and SQL; solid debugging and problem-solving skills.
• OutSystems certifications will be an added advantage..
• Understanding of application security and data protection best practices (e.g., PDPA).
