The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
You will be part of a team within the Department of Planning, Organisation & Sustainability (PODS) overseeing resource planning and allocation within Singapore Polytechnic.
[What you will be working on]
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service (GRIT@Gov) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector.
You will be part of a team within the Department of Planning, Organisation & Sustainability (PODS) overseeing resource planning and allocation within Singapore Polytechnic.
[What you will be working on]
- Assist team in the formulation of resource management policies and processes to support a strong resource management culture across the organisation
- Collection, cleaning and structuring data from various internal stakeholders
- Developing and refining data processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy
- Prepare dashboards to support management reporting and policy communications
- Diploma and above in Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics or other adjacent fields will be advantageous
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Power BI is required, applicants with coding and programming experience (e.g. Python, R) will be considered favourably
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills, able to maintain effective and collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders
- Strong data storytelling instincts, with good attention to detail
- Self-starter, able to work independently and proactively
