We’re looking for a Product Designer to join our product and research team in New York City.
You’ll help turn complex behavioral science into elegant, human-centered design—across both our digital assessment tools and supporting content experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, researchers, and marketing partners to craft interfaces and visual systems that feel intuitive, trustworthy, and alive with purpose.
This role is ideal for a designer who’s equal parts systems thinker and storyteller—someone who cares deeply about how design clarity shapes user transformation.
- Design intuitive, elegant interfaces for our core digital tools (The Values Bridge, PIE360, Career Traits Compass, and others).
- Translate behavioral science frameworks into clear, emotionally resonant user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and content to define design requirements and bring new features to life.
- Conduct and synthesize user research and usability testing, iterating designs based on insights and real-world behavior.
- Ensure every experience moves users through our core journey: clarity → discernment → decision → alignment.
- Contribute to our design system, maintaining consistency across product, marketing, and learning environments.
- Build scalable UI components, style guides, and documentation that keep our visual language cohesive and accessible.
- Collaborate with the marketing and brand team to ensure design coherence across campaigns, workbooks, and digital touchpoints.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail while balancing speed and iteration.
- Create visual assets for campaigns, landing pages, and presentations that extend product storytelling.
- Support Suzy Welch’s thought leadership and institutional partnerships with clean, on-brand visuals and layouts.
- Design decks, one-pagers, and case studies that communicate product value clearly and beautifully.
- Write or refine interface copy (headlines, prompts, instructions) to ensure product communication is warm, human, and precise.
- Collaborate with our content and marketing writers to bring a unified voice and tone across experiences.
- Translate abstract concepts into approachable, action-oriented language that builds user trust.
- Have 3–6 years of experience in product design or a related design role.
- Have a portfolio that shows clean, intuitive UI, strong systems thinking, and thoughtful user flows.
- Are fluent in Figma and modern prototyping tools.
- Can move fluidly between product, brand, and marketing design without losing quality or focus.
- Love building at early-stage companies and thrive in environments with high autonomy and collaboration.
- Are based in New York City (or able to work primarily in-person with our team).
- Experience in edtech, HR tech, or purpose-driven products.
- Familiarity with data visualization, adaptive learning, or behavior-change design.
- Strong writing skills—able to craft UX copy or narrative storytelling.
- A background in psychology, behavioral science, or design thinking.
