Company: Scalenomic
Location: NYC Metro (Remote Considered)
Type: Full-time
About Scalenomic
Scalenomic is a fast-growing digital marketing and creative agency that drives measurable growth for ambitious brands. We combine data-driven strategy with creative excellence to scale our clients' businesses profitably. As we grow, we're building a world-class team that treats client performance like it's our own business.
The Role
We're looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager who will be the single source of truth for our clients' performance data. You'll own the complete performance narrative—bridging marketing metrics, creative effectiveness, and financial outcomes. This isn't a "dashboards and done" role. You'll be the person who knows whether our clients are actually making money, where the opportunities hide in the data, and how to turn complex data into actionable insights.
You'll work alongside executive management to build the reporting infrastructure that scales with our agency, while uncovering the insights that separate good campaigns from great ones. You'll enable our entire team to make data-informed decisions across accounts, creative strategy, and agency operations.
What You'll Own
Performance Intelligence
Own P&L accountability for client accounts
Track and analyze marketing performance metrics across all channels (CPA, ROAS, CPC, CPM, CAC, LTV)
Quantify creative performance (CTR, engagement rates, watch time, conversion rates)
Calculate cross-channel attribution and halo effects to understand the full customer journey
Identify performance trends, anomalies, and opportunities in real-time
Reporting & Dashboards
Build and maintain performance dashboards in Looker Studio (or similar BI tools)
Create custom reporting frameworks for both financial and marketing metrics
Deliver weekly and bi-weekly performance reports for internal teams and management
Design reporting that synthesizes complex data into clear, actionable insights
Develop reporting standards and templates that scale across the agency
Data Operations & Automation
Build and optimize ETL processes to consolidate data from multiple platforms
Automate repetitive reporting tasks to free up time for deeper analysis
Leverage AI and emerging tools to improve data quality, speed, and insights
Identify patterns and correlations across campaigns, clients, and channels that others miss
Strategic Partnership
Work directly with executive management to design and evolve agency-wide reporting frameworks
Partner with account, creative, and strategy teams to translate data into actionable recommendations
Enable team-wide data literacy by making insights accessible and understandable
Participate in client calls when deep analytical expertise is needed (occasional, not routine)
Challenge assumptions when the data tells a different story
Act as the analytical foundation that makes the entire team more effective
What You Bring
Required
3-5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, performance marketing, or similar analytical role (agency experience strongly preferred)
Deep fluency with marketing performance metrics: CPA, ROAS, CPC, CPM, CTR, conversion rates, LTV, CAC
Advanced proficiency with Looker Studio (Google Data Studio) or similar BI platforms
Strong technical skills in data manipulation, Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, data modeling)
Experience building multi-channel attribution models and understanding cross-channel effects
Proven ability to own client P&L and financial reporting
Strong communication skills—you can translate complex data into clear insights for internal teams (client presentation skills a plus, but not required)
Self-starter mentality—you proactively find problems and solve them without waiting to be told
Bonus Points
Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis
Background in forecasting, scenario modeling, or predictive analytics
Hands-on experience launching and managing creative on advertising platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.)
Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
Experience with AI tools for data analysis and reporting automation
Understanding of creative testing frameworks and statistical significance
