We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to a critical company-wide SAP integration project.

You will be instrumental in creating and maintaining API connections between our new SAP backend and various internal and external applications. This role requires solid experience in API development and system integration using PHP and Laravel. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable API integrations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting legacy systems during the transition. Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable API integrations between front-end applications and the SAP backend
• Collaborate with internal teams, business analysts, and external SAP integration partners to convert business needs into technical solutions
• Analyze existing PHP/Laravel applications to map data flows and define integration strategies
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following company standards
• Provide technical support and maintenance for legacy PHP applications during transition
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to APIs, data integrity, and system performance
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality, security, and compliance with project requirements
• Identify and recommend improvements for integration architecture and development processes

Requirements

• Extensive experience in software development with 5+ years in PHP
• Proven expertise with Laravel framework for 2+ years
• Demonstrated capability in designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and web services
• Strong understanding of database design and management using MySQL or MS SQL Server
• Proficiency in at least one server-side programming language such as PHP, Python, or Java
• Experience with large-scale system integration or data migration projects
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams
• Self-motivated with ability to manage tasks and deadlines in a remote work environment
• English language proficiency at a professional working level

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Background in modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel
• Familiarity with front-end technologies including JavaScript
