Masai, in academic collaboration with a premier institute, is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant (TA) to support its Cloud and DevOps program.
The TA will play a key role in ensuring a high-quality learner experience through academic support, doubt-solving, and engagement.
This role is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in cloud infrastructure, DevOps practices, and automation tools — and a passion for guiding aspiring Cloud & DevOps professionals.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
- Doubt-Solving Sessions: Conduct weekly online sessions to clarify student queries on cloud computing, DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure management.
- Q&A & Discussion Forum Support: Provide timely, accurate responses to learner queries on discussion forums, live chats, or emails.
- Research Support: Assist academic teams in integrating case studies and updates from the evolving Cloud and DevOps ecosystem.
- Learner Engagement: Support learners through personalized nudges, assignment help, and group discussions.
- Feedback Loop: Collect learner feedback and share actionable insights with instructors to enhance the course experience.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related domains.
- Proficiency in AWS / Azure / GCP, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.), and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Strong understanding of networking, system administration, cloud architecture, and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior teaching, mentoring, or TA experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with online education platforms or LMS tools is a plus.
