About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front-End React Developer to join our dynamic software engineering team. You will be responsible for building intuitive, responsive, and secure user interfaces for enterprise-grade applications using modern front-end technologies. This role also involves leading and managing the UX and UI aspects of the application to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end applications using React.js, React Hooks, and Material UI.
• Implement state management using Redux and data fetching via GraphQL.
• Collaborate with back-end developers and product managers to deliver high-quality features.
• Ensure application security by following enterprise security best practices, including secure coding, data protection, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Optimise components for maximum performance across a wide range of devices and browsers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to front-end architecture decisions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Professional experience in front-end development with React.js.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with Material UI, Redux, and GraphQL.
• Deep understanding of React Hooks and functional component patterns.
• Familiarity with enterprise security principles, including:
• Cross-site scripting (XSS) and CSRF prevention
• Secure authentication and authorisation flows
• Data encryption and secure storage
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• Exposure to micro-frontend architecture.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools.
• Knowledge of Linux servers, especially RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) environments.
