Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructurefor Microsoft Azure and Snowflake, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles by using tools like Terraform or ARM.
  • Support the team in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps environment.
  • Establish and maintain operational observability for the systems under your responsibility.
  • Carry out and assist with application deployments for your team.
  • Manage and conduct investigations into incidents for systems under your responsibility.
  • Act as the representative for operational topics, facilitating smooth communication and collaboration on infrastructure and operational requirements with other teams.
  • Work in a motivated and young team of software developers, contributing to innovative solutions and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain documentation of systems, infrastructure, and processes.


Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Experienced in Infrastructure as Code principles and tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
  • Fundamental knowledge in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automating repetitive tasks and managing systems more efficiently.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Fundamental understanding of networking, security, and infrastructure design principles in cloud environments.
  • Experienced with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) for cloud infrastructure.


Skills/Abilities:

  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong skills in English and German language


Education:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar field

For the advertised position, a KV minimum basic salary of 3,724.00 euros gross per month applies, with readiness for KV overpayment depending on actual qualifications (for full-time employment).
