Cyber Security Risk Specialist

An opportunity to join a leading WA organisation and strengthen its cyber resilience across enterprise and cloud environments.

As the Cyber Security Risk & Assurance Specialist, you’ll embed best-practice security into daily operations, lead risk and assurance programs, and guide governance activities to protect critical systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a proactive cyber security and risk culture
• Conduct project and technology risk assessments
• Manage internal/external audits, penetration testing, and assurance programs
• Oversee third-party and supplier cyber risk
• Lead remediation of audit findings and control gaps
• Develop dashboards and metrics to track cyber performance

About You

• Solid understanding of frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ACSC Essential Eight, and the ISM
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO27001 Lead Implementer (Desirable)
