Tasks you’ll do:

• Extract, transform, and analyze data from MS SQL Server, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Design and build interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and PowerBI
• Create data models and optimize database schemas for analytical performance
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
• Perform statistical analysis and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support decision-making
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (stakeholders, marketing, finance, operations)
• Gather and document reporting requirements from business users
• Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools
• Manage and maintain BI server infrastructure (Tableau Server/PowerBI Service)
• Implement data governance policies and security protocols
• Optimize query performance and troubleshoot data issues

Required skills & experience:

• 5 to 10 years of experience
• Advanced knowledge of Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Knowledge of SQL and Python
• Git for version control, code management, and collaboration
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools like dbt, Fivetran or similar
• AWS and/or Azure Cloud platforms knowledge
• Implementing data validation, testing, and quality checks
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and data dictionaries
• Problem-solving, critical thinking, attention to detail, and communication skills

Nice to have's:

• Experience with financial data and machine learning.
• Experience working in the banking sector is a plus.
• Experience with advanced analytics.
• Proficiency in English, German is a plus.
