Our Brussels-based House of Communication (labeled Great Place to Work) is looking for an HR Manager to join its team of around 120 employees.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment: manage the recruitment process, including writing and posting job advertisements, negotiating and finalizing contracts. Maintain an organized database of resumes and applicant information.
  • Onboarding: plan and execute onboarding programs for all new employees, including presentations on company culture, work processes, benefits, corporate picture, lockers, databases, etc. in collaboration with the Office Manager.
  • Offboarding: handle exit interviews.
  • Performance Management: implement and manage performance management processes to ensure that employees achieve their work and professional development goals.
  • Employee Development: collaborate with managers to identify professional development opportunities for employees, including training and mentoring.
  • Conflict resolution: help resolve conflicts between employees or between employees and managers.
  • Inclusion: set clear standards for diversity and inclusion within the organisation to ensure a respectful and inclusive work environment for all employees, and contribute to DEI events in collaboration with the international agencies of the Serviceplan Group.
  • Reporting: prepare and present reports on headcount statistics, human resources costs and key performance indicators.
  • Communication: effectively supervising the company's internal communication to ensure clear and consistent transmission of information to all employees.
  • Knowledge: maintain in-depth knowledge of the talent market, including recruitment trends, salaries, and competitive benefits.
  • Employer branding: work on talent attraction and external visibility activities in collaboration with the Marketing Manager.
  • HR software: work on the implementation of a new HR Software in collaboration with the international agencies of the Serviceplan Group.


Qualifications and requirements

  • An education related to human resource management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of HR.
  • Proven track record in HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Proficiency in talent acquisition, training & development, and compensation & benefits.
  • Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving mindset.
  • Empathy and cultural sensitivity in diverse workplaces.
  • Fluent in French or Dutch with good knowledge of the other language, and in English.
