Full-Stack Developer

We are working with a rapidly growing FinTech start-up based in Ghent, providing financial technology solutions to some of the most prominent financial institutions across Europe. Their platform helps financial companies streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and stay ahead in the evolving digital landscape.

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the frontend and backend components of their financial platform. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to build high-performance solutions that meet the needs of a global client base.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the full-stack of a FinTech platform, with a focus on Python-based backend development
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using modern web technologies (React)
• Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, and performs at its best in a high-demand environment
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform by suggesting new technologies and innovations

Your Profile:

• Strong experience in full-stack development with a focus on Python
• Strong skills in React
• Familiarity with API design and integration (GraphQL)
• Experience in deploying applications to cloud platforms
• Comfortable working in an agile, start-up environment with a growth mindset
• Fluency in Dutch is required, as you will be working with a Dutch-speaking team and clients
