Role Overview

As the Experienced/mid-level Full-Stack Engineer Lead, you will spearhead the development of HamyarMan’s MVP, building a mobile app (ReactNative / Native /IOS, Android) and backend (Node.js) to deliver an elder-friendly, GDPR-compliant platform. You’ll lead end-to-end development, ensuring seamless caregiver booking and user trust, while collaborating with our UI/UX designer and marketing specialist. This equity-based role offers ownership in a startup poised for impact and growth in Finland’s elder care sector.

Respnsabilities

• Lead MVP Development: Build a mobile app (React Native / Native) and backend (Node.js, Relational database) for caregiver booking, profiles, and family dashboards, targeting a 6-month launch.
• Elder-Friendly Design: Implement accessible UI (large fonts, WCAG compliance) for seniors, in collaboration with the UI/UX designer.
• GDPR Compliance: Ensure secure data handling for elder and caregiver information, adhering to EU/Finnish privacy laws.
• Technical Architecture: Design scalable systems for a 500-user pilot in Helsinki (9-12 months) and future growth to 5,000 users in 18 months.
• Integration: Incorporate payment systems (e.g., MobilePay), push notifications, and APIs for caregiver-family connections.
• Collaboration: Work with the founder (software engineer) and marketing specialist to align tech with user acquisition goals.
• Mentorship: Guide potential junior developers to accelerate MVP delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experiences in React, ReactNative, Typescript, or similar mordern techs.
• proficiency in Nodejs, relational databases or similar for backend APIs and databases
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, UpCloud) and GDPR-compliant data security.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG for elder users)

Compensations

• Equity-Based: 5%-7% equity , vesting over 4 years with a 1-year cliff.

• Pre-Incorporation: HamyarMan is pre-incorporation, so equity is promised via a pre-incorporation agreement (Series Seed FI template), converting to stock options post-Oy registration.
