About the Company
We are partnered with a rapidly growing NewSpace company based in Toulouse, dedicated to pioneering in-orbit services and autonomous spacecraft technologies. - Oversee procurement processes and lead contractual discussions with suppliers.
Technical Oversight
- Supervise the design, development, and MAIT (Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration, and Testing) of satellite systems to ensure compliance with technical requirements and space standards.
- Coordinate with launch service providers to ensure successful mission integration and deployment.
Operational Management
- Support and oversee pre-launch activities, system validation, and in-orbit operations, including commissioning and performance monitoring.
Governance & Reporting
- Lead milestone reviews, progress meetings, and post-project debriefs.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and quality control across the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project status reports, technical presentations, and executive summaries.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and mitigate risks proactively.
- Implement lessons-learned processes and promote visual management and continuous improvement culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects within the space or high-technology sector.
- Proven track record in spacecraft development or similar complex system programs.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and meet demanding deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Strong initiative and capacity to work autonomously in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in spacecraft design and development (platform or payload).
- Knowledge of MAIT, launch campaigns, and in-orbit operations.
- Familiarity with space standards (e.g., ECSS-M-ST-10C, ECSS-M-ST-40C, ECSS-M-ST-60C, ECSS-M-ST-80C).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and creative problem-solving.
