We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager(Middle Mile Operational Excellence) to join our team in Germany. As Project Manager(Middle Mile Operational Excellence) within SHEIN’s Trucking Team, you will drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability across our middle-mile logistics network. You’ll work closely with internal operations, data analytics, and carrier management teams to identify process gaps, optimize transport flows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives that support SHEIN’s rapid growth across Europe.

Your mission: make every kilometer count — improving speed, cost, and quality across our linehaul and cross-border trucking operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization & Efficiency:

  • Identify, analyze, and eliminate inefficiencies across linehaul and cross-dock operations.
  • Lead Lean / Six Sigma initiatives to streamline transport and transfer hub processes.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trucking operations across multiple markets.
  • Collaborate with the S&OP, forecasting, and warehouse teams to align network planning with operational capacity.

Performance Management:

  • Build and monitor KPI dashboards for on-time performance, cost per lane, and utilization rates.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses on service failures and propose corrective actions.
  • Partner with carriers to optimize routing, trailer allocation, and turnaround time.

Project & Change Management:

  • Manage cross-functional projects that improve linehaul efficiency, sustainability, or automation.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives, integrating new tools for route optimization, TMS, and visibility.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture across the trucking operations team.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Carrier Management, S&OP, Middle-Mile Planning, and Tech teams.
  • Present performance insights and improvement roadmaps to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with local logistics managers across European markets to ensure alignment and consistency.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Management.
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation, linehaul, or logistics operations, ideally in an e-commerce or express delivery environment.
  • Proven record of leading process improvement or optimization projects.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making (Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI).
  • Experience with TMS/WMS systems and network optimization tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies (certification preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; other European languages are a plus.

What We Offer:

  • The opportunity to shape the backbone of one of the world’s fastest-growing fashion supply chains.
  • A fast-moving, global environment with room for experimentation and impact.
  • Flat hierarchy, multicultural team, and direct access to leadership.
  • Competitive compensation package with growth potential.
