We’re looking for a Senior Network Engineer to play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimising complex network environments that support mission-critical communication systems.

Xcede are partnered with a leading telecommunications company in Munich who are expanding their Network Engineering team as part of a major infrastructure transformation initiative.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly collaborative team working on cutting-edge network technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across large-scale telecom environments.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and maintaining enterprise-grade network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Firewalls, Routing/Switching).
• Working with technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Check Point.
• Supporting network automation and optimisation through Python scripting and CI/CD approaches.
• Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver robust, secure, and future-ready network solutions.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and security practices.
• Experience with firewalls, load balancers, and monitoring tools.
• Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken).
