AI Futures have been exclusively retained to find a Data Analyst for a global energy and trading powerhouse headquartered in Hamburg. With €15bn in revenues, strong profitability, and a bold growth agenda, the company is undergoing a major transformation of its global supply chain and logistics capabilities putting digitalisation, data, and optimisation at the core of its strategy. The CEO is personally overseeing the growth of this new business unit as it will significantly impact the top and bottom line.
You will join a high-impact transformation program focused on building a digital twin of the companies global value chain. You will utilise advanced analytics and AI-driven optimisation unlocking a commercial advantage.
The Role
- Support the execution of the global digital value chain optimisation strategy, ensuring alignment with supply, logistics, and commercial priorities
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and integration of digital twin technologies across supply chain and operations functions
- Develop advanced analytics and simulation models to enable data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement
- Partner closely with Data & Analytics, and Commercial teams to gather requirements and ensure tangible results
- Present key insights, findings, and recommendations to leadership, influencing strategic initiatives through evidence-based analysis
The Candidate
- Strong experience in supply chain optimisation, analytics, or digital transformation within international or complex operational environments
- Solid understanding of trading, logistics, or manufacturing processes; experience in energy, commodities, or industrial sectors preferred
- Skilled in applying digital and analytical tools (e.g. digital twin, AI, optimisation, or simulation platforms) to improve operational efficiency
- Proven ability to manage projects or small teams, working cross-functionally to deliver tangible business outcomes
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations
