MediaHQ is expanding into new markets, and we’re looking for a Junior Product Designer (UI/UX) who wants to play a real part in shaping the future of our product.

MediaHQ is the all-in-one media contacts database and press release distribution platform designed for PR and communications teams. Founded by entrepreneur Jack Murray in 2009, our mission is simple: help our customers connect their stories with the right audience.
Our software is the fastest and most accurate way to find journalists, build media lists in seconds, send press releases, and get results. What You’ll Do
You’ll assist our Product Team in:
Hybrid Work
We are Dublin-based but offer a progressive hybrid working policy for the right candidate. The job will require you to keep office working hours from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. You will be required to be in the Dublin office a minimum of one day per week.

What You’ll Do
You’ll assist our Product Team in:
- Designing prototypes and high-fidelity UI mockups.
- Managing and evolving our app’s design system.
- Running and supporting user testing and workshops.
- Delivering new features as part of our product roadmap.
- Gathering and analysing user research (qualitative and quantitative).
- Wireframing and writing specifications for new features.
- Supporting new feature launches, including writing documentation and creating marketing and customer success assets.
- Helping with customer support queries and QA testing.
- Collaborating with Marketing to design assets, presentations, and website content.
- A growth mindset, curiosity, and a collaborative attitude.
- A degree (or working towards one) in Digital Design, Interaction Design, Multimedia, UI/UX Design, or a related field.
- A strong interest in SaaS product design and web app UI/UX.
- Some knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Angular, etc.)—not essential, but useful.
- Familiarity with modern design tools (Figma, Illustrator, Canva, etc.).
- Good knowledge of UX research methods.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Bonus: experience with website builders (Webflow, WordPress) and productivity tools (Jira, Teamwork, ClickUp).
