Full Stack Engineer

We are now looking for a talented SW developer to join the team that is focused on developing Acuvi’s new technology and product platforms. 

Position is located at Sensapex in Oulu. Sensapex is world leader in the most stable micromanipulators and automated microscope workstations for electrophysiology and imaging applications; www.sensapex.com 

You will succeed in this position when you are able to: 

• Contribute strongly on your own and as part of the team 
• Maintain overall plan and drive day to day activities with other team members 
• Establish and undertake code reviews 
• Own responsibility for software quality, maintenance and development. 
• Act as full-stack software developer. Embedded software development is expected to represent significant part of the SW development work. 

We value the following skills: 

• Passion for highly quality SW development. 
• Highly proficient in real-time programming languages such as C/C++. Experience with other programming languages such as Python and QML/Qt. 
• Experience with multi-task/multi threaded Real-Time Operating Systems e.g. FreeRTOS. 
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M family based processors e.g. STM32H743. 
• Good understanding of electronic hardware and programming at device level. 
• Experience with standard hardware blocks and protocols (I2C, SPI, I2C, MPU, DMA, TCP/IP, UDP etc.). 
• Experience with Version Control tools (e.g. Git, Subversion).Ability to Travel when necessary.Self starter and motivated – capable of working on your own.
