As a senior Software engineer, you'll work on the interface and back end infrastructure of products and features used by hundreds of underwriters and every day. You must display solid proficiency in the fundamentals of Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and popular front-end frameworks like Vue.js.

The role will include the delivery of reliable, scalable new features to users, developed in Python, interacting with a PostgreSQL database and using the Vue.js frontend framework. Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team of software engineers and data professionals to develop new features.
• Strive for high quality and rapid output utilizing agile software development
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
• Maintain industry standard coding, compliance, & security practices
• Proactively learn product frameworks and code base
• Communicate and problem-solve daily with teammates, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, possibly in combination with travel

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's or master's, preferably in computer science or related field
• 4 plus years of experience in full stack development
• 4 plus years of experience with Python and PostgreSQL
• 2 plus years of experience with JavaScript frameworks
