Network Engineer

We are looking for…

A skilled Network & Firewall Engineer to join a critical migration project, enabling the timely transition of services to the client's private cloud.

About the role

Due to a significant increase in workload related to migrations to the private, a dedicated project has been launched, requiring an experienced engineer to handle network and firewall implementation, design, and documentation.

You will:

• Implement Network and firewall changes according to client standards and policies.
• Design Network and firewall run books based on standard client patterns.
• Update network and firewall documentation.

Responsibilities

• Implementing necessary network and firewall modifications.
• Developing clear, standardized operational documentation (run books).
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date network and firewall records.

Who are you?

You are a proactive, technically proficient engineer who thrives in an agile environment and can independently drive critical network and firewall tasks within a high-stakes migration project.

Experience

• Professional and intellectual IT skills at HBO / WO level - at least a bachelor's degree.
• Used to working in an Agile way, especially Scrum methodology.

Profile

• Knowledge and/or certified in one or more of the following products: Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco, Infoblox and F5 GTM and LTM.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a distributed, international team.
• Strong focus on adherence to corporate standards and policies.
