Dellent is a consulting company focused in System Information and Telecommunications. Our goal is to help our candidates and consultants to take a step forward in their careers through projects that meet their needs and expectations. This project is part of the business investment banking and financial services area, and currently has its technological hub in Porto and is working on the development of innovative solutions and support for all operations related to the business. We are looking for a Java Developer to work in this project in Porto (Hybrid). What are we looking for? - Academic background in either Computer Science (or similar IT degree), Economics or Finance; - Between 3 and 6 years of experience as a Java Developer; - Proven experience in PL/SQL and SQL programming languages; - Understanding in object-oriented languages; - Familiarity with basic Financial concepts; - Proficient in English; - Passion and experience in 3rd line IT Support role related tasks; - Excellent debugging and problem-solving capability, efficient multi-tasking in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; - Strong interpersonal, relationship, management, and communication skills; - Ability to promote process improvement; - Empathy and ownership of customer issues. Nice-to-have: - Experience with Oracle, IQ, ASE, Hive database; - Experience with VBA, SQL Workbench, GitLab, Control-M, BitBucket, CFT, Jenkins, Kakfa, Big Data, Unix; - Familiarity with Jira / Confluence; - Power BI experience is a plus; - Knowledge of French.
