Job Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to become an integral part of our DevOps team that supports our embedded firmware development community. You will partner with our talented product development staff as Bose delivers new and exciting features for existing and next-generation consumer audio products. You will support Bose by advancing our DevOps culture in the organization. You will be a part of a team that works to advance software build practices across the organization
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain CI pipelines to fully automate integration of components across different embedded development teams
- Build tools that enable release, validation, and publishing of software components for embedded software products
- Work across software teams to identify opportunities to optimize and remove potential CI/CD bottlenecks
- Stay up to date on relevant technologies, plug into user groups, understand trends and opportunities to ensure we are using the best possible techniques and tools
- Design, manage and maintain tools to automate operational processes
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or comparable
- 3+ years’ experience in DevOps, embedded software development or build infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Kubernetes, Docker, or build automation tools
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, such as: Python
- Experience with Amazon Web Services or similar cloud platforms
- Familiarity with C/C++ software builds and embedded systems (Linux, super loops, etc.)
- Working knowledge of other software development tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Grafana
