As part of our global product team, you'll collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex workflows into intuitive, elegant experiences. This role is perfect for a designer who wants to grow their impact, wear multiple hats, and bring clarity to a space where compliance, culture, and user experience intersect.
What You'll Do
- Turn complex user needs, business goals, and technical requirements into clear, intuitive product experiences.
- Drive the full design process, from discovery and research to wireframes, flows, prototypes, and polished UIs.
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to uncover insights, validate assumptions, and guide design decisions.
- Map complex workflows into clear, simple user journeys that reduce friction and improve usability.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to balance feasibility, scalability, and design quality.
- Explore multiple solution paths, balancing immediate needs with long-term product vision.
- Build and maintain design systems: create reusable components, define interaction patterns, and ensure consistency across the product.
- Apply accessibility and usability best practices to deliver inclusive, high-quality experiences.
- Facilitate design workshops and co-creation sessions to align stakeholders around customer problems and solutions.
- Continuously improve design processes, challenge assumptions, and raise the UX bar across the team.
- Design with a global perspective, accounting for cultural nuances, multiple languages, and compliance requirements.
- 3+ years of design experience (UI/UX or product design), ideally with SaaS platforms.
- Focus on User-centered design for complex, data-heavy workflows.
- Map complex workflows into clear user journeys, information architectures, and task flows that reduce friction and improve usability.
- Experience contributing to or building design systems, creating scalable components, defining interaction patterns, and maintaining consistency across products.
- Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability principles.
- Design and prototyping tools (Figma, FigJam, etc.).
- Skilled communicator and storyteller who can confidently present, explain, and justify design decisions.
- Comfortable working in agile, fast-changing environments, shipping iteratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with enterprise applications. Bonus if in HR tech, payroll, fintech, or global workforce tools.
- Experience designing for global audiences and multi-language interfaces.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or EOR/contractor systems.
- Exposure to fintech/payments platforms.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or developer handoff tools.
