Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across five continents. While we work in science, there’s no magic formula to how we do it. Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world. And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.
Our Process Analytics & Data Intelligence (PADI) team is currently seeking a motivated intern to support ongoing projects. During this 6-12-month internship, you will gain valuable insights into the daily operations of the Mammalian Proce ss Development team at Lonza and discover how digital tools are shaping the future of laboratory work. You’ll play an active role in designing and implementing smart digital solutions while becoming a valued contributor to our team.
Your Mission
You’ll be part of projects that truly matter, including:
- Shaping the way scientists use Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) by designing smarter templates.
- Creating apps with Microsoft Power Platform that turn frustrating manual work into elegant, automated workflows.
- Using Python and database design to bring structure, logic and intelligence into our data systems.
- How to turn ideas into real products and seeing people use them.
- You will sharpen your technical skills, discover the power of Microsoft’s digital ecosystem and gain experience working side by side with scientists and data experts.
- A recent graduate in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Curious, creative and not afraid to challenge “how things have always been done.”
- Basic coding skills (Python preferred)
- Enthusiasm for Microsoft tools like Power Apps and Power Automate
- Passionate about turning complex workflows into streamlined intuitive systems.
People come to Lonza for the challenge and creativity of solving complex problems and developing new ideas in life sciences. In return, we offer the satisfaction that comes with improving lives all around the world. The satisfaction that comes with making a meaningful difference.
Lonza is an equal opportunity employer.
