Product Business Analyst

We are looking for a Product Business Analyst to join our Catalyst product team, supporting both Catalyst Blockchain Manager (CBM) and Catalyst Package Manager (CPM). These two interconnected platforms form the foundation of our Catalyst Framework: one provides orchestration for blockchain infrastructure; the other serves as an application registry for publishing, distributing, and deploying composable modules and smart contract packages.

The ideal candidate will bridge business strategy, technology, and user experience and help define the next generation of Catalyst features for enterprise blockchain deployment and package management. You’ll play a key role in understanding customer needs, analyzing competitor solutions, and shaping the evolution of our products within different blockchain network ecosystems. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of product design, business analysis, and blockchain technology.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the product manager and engineers to define the business conditions and requirements needed to meet project goals.
• Define, analyze, and document business and functional requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce high-quality artifacts, including financial flow analyses, message mappings, and functional specifications.
• Facilitate clear communication between business and technical stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet both business needs and technical feasibility.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate developed features and ensure alignment with business expectations.
• Support and organize product demonstration sessions internally and externally.
• Monitor trends across blockchain networks, such as the Canton network, customer ecosystem, and competitive landscape, to provide actionable insights for product evolution.
• Contribute to product roadmap shaping, leveraging data and user feedback to recommend feature priorities and improvements.
  
  

Requirements

Must Have:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, comfortable working with both technical and business teams.
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms and vice versa. Including specifying business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Demonstrated experience with requirement elicitation, gap analysis, and documentation in structured formats.
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology, ideally with exposure to Canton / Daml ecosystems.
• Overall understanding of distributed systems architecture, including concepts such as decentralization, data consistency, and system interoperability.
• Proficiency in modelling business and system processes, data flows, and user interfaces; familiarity with BPMN and UML notations.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban, using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to produce and interpret business process models, data flow diagrams, and UML documentation.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management and versioning in SaaS or enterprise software contexts.
• Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and performance.

• Demonstrated experience with requirement elicitation, GAP analysis, and documentation in structured formats.
• Hands-on experience with DeFi protocols, DAOs, NFTs, or on-chain analytics.
• Knowledge of tokenomics, governance models, or crypto market mechanics.
