About the Role:

Leftfield Solutions is hiring a Lead Cyber Security Architect for a prestigious organization based in Abu Dhabi. This is a strategic leadership role reporting to the Global Head of Cybersecurity. You will be responsible for leading the enterprise security architecture function across cloud, network, application, data, and identity domains, ensuring the organization stays ahead of evolving cyber threats while enabling secure business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement end-to-end enterprise security architectures across systems, cloud, network, and applications.
• Own the security architecture lifecycle, ensuring “secure-by-design” principles and resilience across all environments.
• Evaluate and define security solutions and vendor strategies, including RFQ/RFP processes.
• Provide leadership in managing the Security Operations Center (SOC) and develop robust incident response playbooks.
• Lead threat modeling, forensic analysis, and post-incident reporting.
• Implement and manage solutions for IAM (RBAC, SSO, MFA, UEBA), M365 Security, Entra IGA, Azure Sentinel, etc.
• Incorporate data privacy, encryption, and compliance frameworks in solution architecture.
• Conduct red teaming/blue teaming simulations and cybersecurity awareness initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication during crisis scenarios and high-pressure incidents.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10–15 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT risk management, or resilience engineering.
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale security architecture initiatives.
• Deep technical expertise in:
• Cloud security (Azure preferred)
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• SOC operations and IR planning
• Network and perimeter security
• Strong understanding of offensive and defensive security methodologies.
• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations and lead through crisis.

Preferred Certifications:

• CISSP, CISA, Azure Security, or other cybersecurity certifications
• AI & Next-Gen Security Certification (a plus)
• Familiarity with financial systems and regulatory requirements is beneficial
