Freelance UX/UI Designer – Mobile App

Join a project focused on transforming a text-heavy subscription journey into a visually engaging and intuitive mobile experience. You will analyze the current subscription flow, identify user pain points, and design new mobile screens for both iOS and Android platforms. The role requires creating or sourcing illustrations, icons, and micro-interactions that guide users and evoke an emotional connection, ensuring the process is clear and enjoyable. Collaboration with product and marketing teams is essential to maintain brand consistency throughout the user journey. The ideal candidate brings a user-centered mindset and a strong portfolio showcasing onboarding or subscription flows, particularly in health, fintech, or insurance sectors. This is a short-term project with the potential for future work, and the initial deliverables are expected within a week.

Deliverables

• Analyze and map the current subscription journey to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
• Design and prototype new mobile screens for iOS and Android, focusing on clarity, usability, and visual appeal
• Create or source custom illustrations, icons, and micro-interactions to enhance user guidance and engagement
• Develop micro-interaction guidelines and a component library or design documentation for handoff
• Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and collaborate closely with product and marketing teams
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in mobile UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio featuring onboarding or subscription flows
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
• Demonstrated ability to create or source high-quality visual assets and micro-interactions
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive user experiences
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices for mobile platforms
• Experience in health, fintech, or insurance sectors is a plus
• Ability to deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines (project completion ideally within a week)
