The Junior Drupal Developer will be responsible for project deliverables, including:
- Front-end development, theme creation, and building interactive, responsive experiences
- Backend development
- Drupal upgrades and migrations
- Custom module development and implementation
- Integration for custom functionality and third-party integrations
- Build, CI/CD, and deployments
- Issue resolution and troubleshooting
- Operations and maintenance tasks
- Mobile development
Applicant must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States and clearable for Public Trust clearance with the U.S Government. Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, candidates with Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related field
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Collaborative and communication skills
- Experience in performing web development, especially content management systems (CMS).
- Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript building public websites.
- Experience coding using Java or similar programming language
- Knowledge of Node.js, React.js, and PHP
- Knowledge of SQL/MySQL
- Exposure to Drupal: Installing, configuring, and experimenting with Drupal
- Basic knowledge of web technologies and standards: Understanding of how the web works, HTTP/HTTPS, and basic security practices.
- Experience with Git or version control systems
- Introduction to Composer and package management
- Understanding the basics of APIs and data integration
- Experience using command-line tools: Such as Drush or general terminals for developer workflows
- Experience with responsive design
- React or Angular
- Development frameworks like React Native
- Knowledge of CI/CD
- Knowledge of Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of JIRA
- Acquia Certified Drupal Developer
- Azure certification
