Frontend Developer (Remote)

Piper Companies is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Front-End Developer to join a development team for a biotechnology organization. The Frontend Developer will be responsible for building user-friendly web interfaces. This role is 100% remote (must be willing to travel to HQ locations)

Responsibilities of the Frontend Developer:

Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility
Collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality features
Implement responsive design principles to ensure cross-device compatibility
Debug and troubleshoot issues across browsers and platforms
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Qualifications of the Frontend Developer:

5+ years of experience in front-end development/software engineering
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
Must have experience working in Azure environments
Strong SQL experience (MySQL, Postgre SQL)
Experience with one or more modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous data handling
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
Exposure to Agile/Scrum development environments.
Basic understanding of back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java)
Bachelor’s degree

Compensation for the Frontend Developer:

Salary: Between $120,000 - $150,000 based on years of relevant experience
