What You Will Work On
You will lead the critical transition from old manufacturing equipment to new systems, ensuring completion by end of fiscal year. This role focuses on defining tools and processes to support organizational excellence in program and project management.
Vision And Strategy
- Develop vision, strategy and deliverables for large international programs
- Ensure program alignment with business strategies and budgets
- Own the business case for the program
- Establish and maintain cross-functional and regional coordination
- Maintain ultimate responsibility for program objectives within financial and resource constraints
- Manage project dependencies and build effective program teams
- Oversee vendor contracts, relationships, performance, and communications
- Facilitate manufacturing equipment transition as primary deliverable
- Ensure proper project management staffing across all program projects
- Help develop project objectives and scope
- Serve as escalation point for issues impacting cost, schedule, or performance
- Chair program steering committee meetings
- Provide consistent stakeholder communication and senior leadership reporting
- Work closely with manufacturing teams and leaders
- Partner with engineering leaders in design, tooling, and process engineering
- Coordinate with facilities and quality teams
- Collaborate with project management teams
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred (not required)
- 10+ years of directly relevant program management experience
- Comprehensive experience as business/process leader or industry expert
- PMP certification preferred
- Ability to accurately manage program schedules with multiple project schedules
- Project management software experience (Smartsheets, JIRA)
- Expert stakeholder management capabilities
- High-level communication and reporting skills
- Risk mitigation experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep teams on track
