About This Role

You will be the Product Manager leading our high-impact Estimation products from end-to-end. These systems are foundational to our entire logistics network, providing the time predictions that drive courier allocation, optimize delivery times, and manage expectations for millions of customers and partners globally.

The cross-functional team you lead owns these products from conception to deployment. You will work side-by-side with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Analysts to build, maintain, and optimize sophisticated models.

This is a highly data-driven environment where all decisions are validated through advanced analytics and ML model performance. The problem space is intricate and detailed; therefore, you must possess the interest and drive to zoom into the details to deeply understand model mechanics and identify incremental improvements. Crucially, you must also be able to zoom out to see the bigger picture, recognizing that estimations are fundamental inputs for multiple teams across Logistics and directly impact core Customer and Partner experience metrics.

These are some of the key components to the position:

• Lead the product life cycle, from identifying opportunities to ensuring flawless go-to-market
• Understand your users, identify pain points & opportunity improvements to translate into strategy & roadmap
• Rigorously track success metrics (e.g., model accuracy, bias, business impact) for your predictive products.
• Partner closely with Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to translate business needs into concrete modeling objectives, and identify opportunities in model architecture, feature engineering, and data quality to drive prediction accuracy.
• Reporting on team progress towards goals, managing expectations and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
• Influence the team, manager and other Product Managers in the same department.
• Work effectively as part of an Agile, international team
• Playing an active role in the JET Product community, and sharing best practice across Product Management.

• Experience as a Product Manager in Agile software development teams
• Demonstrated ability in a product management role while working in multidisciplinary teams.
• Passion for modern product management and concepts like product discovery and delivery.
• Down-to-earth, practical, and driven to have a positive impact on all people around you.
• Strong attention to detail with a drive to understand complex system interactions and a capacity to manage dependencies across multiple teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to explain complex and abstract systems (e.g., Machine Learning models, backend dependencies) to your team & stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to your job, finding ways to optimise our processes & products
