Frontend Developer – React / TypeScript / Azure

Location: Stockholm (Hybrid)

Are you a frontend developer ready to take real ownership of your craft?

We’re supporting a well-established organisation in Stockholm on a major digital transformation project - including a complete rebuild of their public web platform and internal systems - and they’re now looking for a Frontend Developer to take charge of their frontend domain.

You’ll be joining a collaborative, cross-functional team working with modern technologies and a clear long-term vision for quality and maintainability.

🌟 The Opportunity

This isn’t a “code and forget” role. You’ll take technical ownership of the frontend, set direction, and work strategically alongside architects and backend engineers to drive the next phase of development. Two consultants currently supporting the frontend will be phased out after your onboarding, giving you the space to shape the framework and influence how the area grows - with plans to expand the frontend team next year.

You don’t need 15 years’ experience, but you do need a mix of hands-on expertise and strategic thinking - someone who can both deliver high-quality code and help define how things should be done.

🧠 What You’ll Bring

• Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript, and CSS
• Ability to take technical ownership and propose solutions / improvements
• Understanding of frontend architecture and how it connects to backend systems (Backend-for-Frontend pattern awareness is a plus)
• Experience working in Azure environments (Container Apps, DevOps, etc.)
• Fluent Swedish (essential) and professional English

Nice to have: Experience with Turborepo, React Router 7 (Remix), and Tailwind CSS
