We are preparing to open recruitment for Software Development Engineer roles in our Kraków-based teams within the next month.

As a Software Development Engineer at Remitly, you will be part of a cross-functional squad focused on delivering impactful solutions - from rapid prototyping to long-term scalable systems. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, and fellow engineers to solve complex problems and create customer experiences that drive global impact.

You Will

• Develop high-quality, reusable, and scalable code using multiple technologies.
• Design and implement APIs to communicate between front-end and back-end systems.
• Contribute to code reviews, sprint rituals, and mentor more junior engineers.
• Influence the architecture and technical roadmap, balancing short-term goals with long-term scalability.
• Create clear implementation and testing plans for your work.
  
  

You Have

• A BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with one or more of the following: TypeScript, JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, Go.
• 1+ year of experience with React or React Native (for Fullstack roles)
• Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of basic architecture, systems design, and agile practices.
• Good communication skills and fluency in English (B2+).
