About the Role:
We are looking for a Network Engineer to strengthen the Group IT Infrastructure team.
This hands-on role focuses on building, maintaining, and securing the company’s global network environment in close cooperation with local IT teams and production sites.
You’ll contribute to global networking and security initiatives, ensuring stability and compliance with Group IT standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure (LAN, WLAN, WAN, VPN, ZTNA, DMZ, NAC, Proxy).
- Administer and support network devices and services (switches, wireless environments, firewalls, proxies).
- Monitor and optimize network performance and availability using centralized monitoring tools.
- Enforce firewall rules, access control, and segmentation in line with Zero Trust principles.
- Collaborate with Group IT, SOC, and local IT teams to resolve incidents and improve network security posture.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and change logs.
- Provide 2nd line support for local ITs in multiple locations.
Your Profile:
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, Firewall, Routing, Switching).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation.
- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or similar enterprise networking technologies.
- Practical knowledge of NAC, ZTNA, Proxy, and firewall management.
- Good understanding of both IT and OT network environments.
- English – full professional proficiency (spoken and written).
- Reliable, structured, proactive, and collaborative team player.
