Key Responsibilities:
- - Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, in collaboration with the project management team
- - Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project designs are feasible and meet all necessary requirements
- - Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project management team, identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays
- - Conduct site visits to ensure construction is being carried out according to plans and specifications, and address any on-site issues that may arise
- - Manage project budgets and ensure all expenditures are within budget limits
- - Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met
- - Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts
- - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- - Provide technical support and guidance to project team members, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
- - Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and other stakeholders
- - Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status, progress, and any issues that may arise
- - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- - Minimum of 10 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the construction industry
- - Strong knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools
- - Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- - Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- - Experience working on projects in the Middle East is a plus
