Overview:

We are seeking a Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Cisco networking technologies to design, deploy, and maintain high-performance, secure, and reliable network infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and enjoys solving complex connectivity challenges across dynamic operations.


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Configure and deploy Cisco switches, routers, and wireless access points (non-Meraki preferred).
  • Implement and manage routing protocols such as EIGRP and BGP.
  • Monitor network performance, respond to incidents, and proactively resolve connectivity issues.
  • Support and optimize WiFi deployments using tools such as Ekahau for surveys and performance validation.
  • Utilize Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center) and Cisco ISE for configuration management, access control, and network automation.
  • Collaborate with IT, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless connectivity and network resilience.
  • Maintain documentation for network architecture, standards, and troubleshooting procedures.

Must Haves:

  • 3–5 years of experience in network engineering roles.
  • Proven expertise in configuring Cisco switches, Cisco APs, and managing EIGRP/BGP routing protocols.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing network devices and WiFi environments.
  • Proficiency with Catalyst Center, Cisco ISE, and WiFi survey tools (e.g., Ekahau).


Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in high-operational-tempo environments such as investment banking, airport operations, live events, tactical military, or disaster management settings.
  • Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCNA Wireless, CCIE) or equivalent hands-on expertise.
  • Familiarity with network automation or scripting tools.
