Contract: Until 30 June 2026 (extensions likely)
Location: Canberra, Hybrid - minimum 3 days in office, 2 days WFH per week
Clearance: Baseline Security Clearance (Mandatory)
Citizenship: Australian Citizens only
Strong experience with AWS cloud services, including:
Networking (DNS, VPC, Network Tracing, Proxy Configuration, Firewalls)
ECS Fargate (container orchestration, scaling, and service management)
EC2 (provisioning, monitoring, and optimization)
PowerShell scripting and automation
Experience with JSON/YAML for configuration and deployment pipelines
Hands-on experience with Docker (build, deployment, registry, troubleshooting)
Familiarity with Linux administration and shell scripting (advantageous)
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation
Experience working in Agile Scrum environments
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform - desirable)
Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams
Ability to document processes, designs, and operational procedures
Proactive mindset with a focus on automation, scalability, and continuous improvement
DevOps Engineer
