Mission:
Within a project / product team, you will be required, in the context of firing systems or smart ammunitions, to specify, design, develop and validate and test embedded electronics hardware and software.
Main Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for the design and sizing of the products assigned to you, ensuring that the development and validity of the products are compliant with the whole architecture of the solutions.
- Produce technical documentation such as: Software and Hardware Description Documents; requirement documents, Test Plans, and Requirement Traceability Matrices.
- Management and monitoring of subcontracted tasks
- Analyze and correct defects/issues that have been identified during the various phases of development.
- Contribute actively to the integration and validation phases in coordination with the IVVQ team.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (mechanical, energetic materials, operations, prototyping, and software teams).
- Participate in design and industrialization reviews.
- Participate in technical support missions during product development phases, whether at our customers and/or suppliers, internally or externally.
- Provide technical support to the Project Manager for the monitoring of costs, development schedules and associated technical reporting.
- Support the preparation of product Statement of Work (SOW).
- Setup and validate proof of concepts by building electronic breadboards / development board before integration of the final design.
- Responsible for simulation of analog circuits using LTspice.
Required Level Of Studies And Experience
- Master in Electronical Engineering or relevant experience equivalent.
- You have at least 5 years an experience designing embedded solutions: electronic cards and software development.
- You have experience in the development of PCB layouts, FPGA using VHDL, communication systems (CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, 1553, ARINC429 …) and good experience in an electronic lab environment
- You have experience with embedded software such as C/C++, RTOS, …
- You speak English and French (spoken and written)
- You have experience in Bitbucket, Git, Jenkins, Jira
- As a plus, you have experience of computer vision, artificial intelligence, cyber security, drone
- As a plus, you have experience in reverse engineering embedded systems.
