Internship - Web Developer (front-end)

• Part-time, unpaid during the early phase

About the Role:

We are seeking a Front-End Web Developer Intern (Curricular Internship) to support the design, development, and optimization of the Institute Itech website and project platforms.

The intern will work closely with designers, communication specialists, and software engineers to build a modern, responsive, and accessible digital presence that reflects the company’s identity and vision.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end components for the Institute Itech website and related project pages
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement new layouts and features
• Optimize pages for performance, accessibility, and SEO
• Support integrations with back-end APIs and content management systems
• Contribute to testing, debugging, and maintenance of web functionalities
• Participate in regular design and code review meetings

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with React, Vue.js, or similar frameworks
• Basic understanding of Git version control
• Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving mindset
• Fluent in English (Italian is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Next.js, TailwindCSS, or Bootstrap
• Familiarity with REST APIs, Node.js, or Firebase
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design
• Interest in working on corporate and R&D websites
