About the Role

We are looking for a passionate Backend / AI Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable backend services using Python and Flask, integrating AI tools like OpenAI and Gemini, and working in cloud-based microservice environments.

You will be part of a fast-paced product team delivering real-world AI-powered applications and platforms. Ownership, accountability, and eagerness to learn are critical for this role.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Python (Flask) and MySQL
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Integrate with AI services such as OpenAI (GPT, Gemini, etc.)
• Write clean, secure, scalable code following best practices
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to define API contracts
• Work on system architecture, API design, and deployment pipelines
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging
• Own tasks end-to-end and drive projects with minimal supervision

Must-have Skills

• Strong experience with Python and Flask
• Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
• Experience integrating AI APIs like OpenAI (GPT, Gemini, etc.)
• Understanding of REST APIs and microservices
• Experience using Git, GitHub, and any project management tool (e.g., Linear, Jira)
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable in remote work settings with strong communication

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Flutter (for mobile app integration)
• Experience with React.js, Next.js (for web platforms)
• Experience with Node.js, Express.js
• Exposure to DevOps pipelines, containerization, or monitoring tools
• Experience in training custom AI models or fine-tuning existing ones
