POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking for a Junior QA Automation Engineer who can design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the WebdriverIO framework for web
applications. Collaborate with developers and other QA engineers to understand requirements and
identify test scenarios. Perform end-to-end testing, functional testing, and regression testing to ensure
that new features and bug fixes meet requirement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases based on business and technical
- requirements.
- Integrate tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing and rapid feedback
- on code changes.
- Debug test failures, analyze root causes, and report bugs in collaboration with
- development teams.
- Monitor and maintain test infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance of test
- environments.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in test automation and advocate for best practices
- within the QA team
KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages with a
- focus on test automation.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab
- CI, or similar).
- Experience with other test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and problem solving
- abilities. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
