Position Purpose

As a Senior Product Designer, you will take ownership of the full product design lifecycle from research and concept development through to prototyping, validation, and launch.

You’ll work closely with real end users, translating insights into meaningful design solutions that enhance our trading platforms and deliver exceptional user experiences.

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role that blends deep UX research with polished UI design. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life, ensuring our products are not only visually compelling but also grounded in user needs, data, and technology feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design processes from user research, ideation, and prototyping through to final UI delivery and post-launch iteration.
• Conduct user research and usability testing with real users (retail traders), translating insights into actionable design improvements.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define user problems, explore design opportunities, and validate solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with both user needs and business objectives.
• Maintain and evolve the company’s design system, ensuring design consistency, scalability, and collaboration across teams.
• Integrate AI tools and workflows into the design process to enhance creativity, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure all designs are accessible, responsive, and optimized for performance across web and mobile trading platforms.
• Collaborate in workshops and design sprints to align ideas, define requirements, and support product vision.
• Partner with engineers during implementation to ensure design intent and quality are preserved through launch.
• Stay current on emerging UX, AI, and fintech trends to continuously refine design practices and elevate user experience.

Key Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on Product Design / UX/UI experience, ideally within a B2C platform in Financial Services Industry.
• Proven experience working end-to-end from initial user research and concepting through design delivery, stakeholder presentation, and post-launch optimization.
• Strong knowledge of design systems e.g. building, maintaining, and scaling them across teams.
• Experience with or understanding trading platforms, financial tools, or personal interest in trading and investing.
• Experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma.
• Experience using research tools such as UserTesting, Maze, or Lyssna.
• Proficiency in AI tools and workflows (beyond ChatGPT), such as for ideation, data visualization, usability analysis, or design automation.
• Demonstrated collaboration with real users, not just business stakeholders.
• Strong grasp of UX research methods, interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles.
• Ability to effectively communicate design rationale and insights to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a user-first mindset.
