About the Role

As a Founding Frontend Engineer, you will:

• Own the design and implementation of intuitive, high-performance user interfaces across multiple new products.
• Translate complex workflows into clean, modern, and engaging user experiences.
• Work closely with design, research, and product teams to ship features that delight users and make a measurable impact.
• Establish best practices in frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, and testing.
• Help set the cultural and technical foundation of the engineering team as it scales.

This is a high-ownership role where your work will be directly visible to users and critical to the company’s success.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building production-ready web applications in Typescript and React.
• Deep understanding of frontend performance, state management, and component design.
• Ability to move quickly and iterate on designs without sacrificing quality.
• Passion for creating elegant, user-focused experiences in fast-paced environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and eagerness to take full ownership from concept through launch.

Nice to Have

• Experience with UX/UI design or close collaboration with design teams.
• Exposure to backend or infra (Node.js, Golang, or Rust).
• Formal technical degrees or certifications (not required).

Total Compensation: $150,000–$250,000
